KNPIEMS is committed to a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form.

🚫 Zero Tolerance: Ragging is a punishable offense under the Supreme Court of India's directives and UGC / AICTE regulations. Any act of ragging will result in immediate expulsion and criminal proceedings.

Anti-Ragging Policy

KNPIEMS, Chakan follows all directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the AICTE Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions. The institution maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy.

What Constitutes Ragging +
Ragging includes any conduct by a student or students, whether by words spoken or written, or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating, or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student; or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities; or asking any student to do any act or perform anything which such student will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment.

Members (to be updated upon commencement):
• Principal / Director – Chairperson
• Faculty Members (minimum 3)
• Student Representatives
• Non-Teaching Staff Representative
• Parent Representative
• Civil Society Representative

Undertaking by Students & Parents +
Every student admitted to KNPIEMS and their parents/guardians are required to submit an undertaking (as per UGC/AICTE format) affirming that they have read and understood the anti-ragging policy and will abide by it.

This undertaking is mandatory and forms part of the admission documentation.
